boxes are made of art paper+Grey board ranging from 128gsm to 157gsm C2S paper.
the thickness of Grey board will be with different thickness, depending on the strength and size as well as weight of the game designed.

Generally speaking|:
1.800-1000gsm Grey boards are 1.25-1.5mm thick,
2.1200gsm boards are 1.8-2.1mm thick.
3. 2000gsm 3mm thick, very durable.

If your game is heavy and has many components or a large box, it would be wiser to use thicker cardboard, or at least a higher grade, so your board game box won't bend easily and the game will last longer. No one likes to pick up a board game box and feel like it's flimsy and breaks after a play or two.

Finishing style:
Matt lamination,Glossy lamination,Linen,UV spot,silver/golden foil,Hollow,Embossed.
Suitable finishing will make your board game box to stand out just a little more than other games.

Board game inserts are not just an element of packaging, they’re an important part of the product.

Insert Types: Cardboard/U-channel Insert, which work relatively well for the base game which just contains simple pieces to take up space, rather economic materials. Also could custom printing. However it is impossible to make complex grooves, easily to be problematic for storing games vertically. Materials are usually 350/400g white card, 400Clay coated news back, Corrugated Cardboard (250gsm CCNB+E Flute Board).

Plastic/Vacuum Formed Insert, which easy to pleasing to the eye and very suitable for heavy-weight board games, could be molded into fairly complex shapes.but cost higher and only be done in a single color. There will be 3different types for materials such as PS,PVC or PET. PS materials is commonly used in colored vacuum inserts. Custom color is available. Standard colors like black or white will be the only option if the order quantity is too small.Transparent plastic inserts are made of PVC or PET. PET is a greener alternative. It’s widely recycled and has better toughness. Molds for vacuum-formed inserts are made from either copper or aluminum. Aluminum molds are more for plastic trays with complicated designs. They make your insert come out beautifully with precise details.

Normally Game board will be using 157gsm C2S paper+2mm durable Grey board + 157gsm C2S paper/Black texture paper to make the game board, and you can choose 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/6 fold according to your game board size. The standard chipboard is 1.9mm (0.075 inches) for quad –fold game board with open size 18 X 18 inches. We accept custom game board for variable size and materials to meet your requirement. To increase the durability of the folded game board, we can apply the finishing either UV coating, glossy PP lamination or matte PP lamination on the wrap.

Board Game Tokens and Board Game Pieces are widely used components in various board games. Because, board game tokens and pieces are made of cardboard and are divided into two types. Larger cardboard pieces are used more as map pieces for board games, while smaller pieces are often used as small token.

Cardboard tokens can have different thicknesses. But the thinnest recommend thickness is 1.5mm, after that 1mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, and 3mm.

Instead of being made piece by piece, board game tokens are printed on a piece of paper, which is then glued to similarly sized cardboard, and then cut to fit the shape and size of the tokens. As mentioned before, the thickness of these pieces can be between 1-3 mm.

Generally speaking, there are three types of papers that can be used for any playing cards: white core, blue core, and black core.

The white core is used in most board games and is the standard. a high-quality white core is durable, elastic, and can maintain its shape for a long period. the thickness of white core paper is between 0.38-0.5mm.

If you would like your cards to be thinner, and shuffle a little better you can use blue core paper, though it will not be as durable as the white core.

For thin and good shuffle it is best to use black core paper, which is the same paper used for poker cards in casinos.

Binding style will be included saddle stitch binding,perfect binding,spiral binding and case-warp binding(hard cover designed).
The material to be used:128gsm C2S paper,157gsm C2S paper or 80gsm wooden free paper.

Miniatures
The process will be monitored as following：
1.Provide 3D file with specifications
2.Adjust with final 3D design to have final digital mode
3.Print the digital sample and create physical 3D waxen sample
4.Create the real injection mold
5.Create a duplication of the digital sample with high level of details for further checking and modification.
6.Create the injection mold with leading time of around 20 days and produce a pre-production sample for approval
7.Proceed mass production in terms of assembly,or gluing and painting will be undertaken.
8.Checking quality and arrange assembly into customized tray or box designed.

Wooden game pieces are an essential part of board games, and they come in several standard shapes and many custom shapes. Almost all mid-weight indie board games use wooden blocks in their gameplay as tokens, resources, buildings, etc. Wooden blocks are the best way to make 3D pieces stand out.

These wooden game pieces appear in almost all games: meeples, pawns, cubes, discs, cylinders, sticks, houses,etc. However, even standard wooden game parts are made to demand and are not always available in the correct color or quantity, so you can also make custom-shaped wooden parts for the same price.

The Wood components can be either be made by Hemu or Beechwood.There are three types of printing that can be done on wood components:Screen Printing,UV print,Heat stamp.
